Keely Thompson III was born on August 15, 2001 in Silver Spring, Maryland. The youngest of three, he inherited the aggressive and competitive spirit from his father, and passion, along with an appreciation for the arts from his mother. He has always been an athletic boy, playing T-ball in the first grade, soccer from grades 3 – 5, and foot ball from grade 6 – present. Keely has also always had a love for the arts – dance, music, and especially acting.
While constantly participating in church and school plays, it wasn’t until the age of 9 that Keely developed a genuine love and passion for acting. Beginning with his first commercial for Virginia tours at this same age, he has never looked back. He started participating in acting classes and workshops in New York, and began to audition for multiple roles in the acting / entertainment industry. He has done commercials, music videos, print work, modeling, and film. His most recent work entails commercials, a feature film entitled, “Field of Lost Shoes,” (starring Jason Issacs, David Arquette, and Nolan Gould) and a documentary entitled “Loving” (starring Joel Edgerton, Ruth Negga, Michael Shannon, and Nick Kroll). When not on the runway or in front of the camera, Keely enjoys listening to music, watching sporting events, playing football, and spending time with his family, especially his 3 year old nephew. His goals include becoming a professional actor, starring in a feature film, and helping those who are less fortunate.
